Pumpkin Patch!

Last weekend we gambled with the weather and headed to Iron's Fruit Farm to go on a hayride to a pumpkin patch - and it was a good gamble!  The rain held off and we even saw some peaks of sun!  The hayride first took us to the Corn Maze.  We did this last year and had a great time - so it is now a tradition.  Click here to see the maze!

After the corn maze we hunted for some pumpkins - the rule was if you picked it, you had to carry it!  We were in no position to be carrying large pumpkins during this trip.  And since most of the pumpkins had dirt and mud, Max refused to touch any!  So we found three little pumpkins that we could carry and some small gourds - Noah loved the gourds!

Noah was wearing his Canada socks in honor of Canada's Thanksgiving!

There was a fire truck at the barn - Max was in heaven!
We ate pumpkin cookies after the hayride and on the way home we stopped in Lebanon at the ice cream shop for a treat.  A perfect fall tradition!

No ice cream this year :(
