Fall Family Fun - In Loveland!

Two teacher friends of mine, Kim and Sandy, had made separate recommendations for me to do with our family.  Kim had suggested a fall farm at Blooms and Berries and awhile back Sandy had suggested a restaurant called The Works - turns out they are five minutes apart so we made a day of it!  And I will start off by saying I think we have a new family fall tradition!  And OMG!  A family picture!  Haven't had one of these in awhile!  Too bad Noah is so nosy right now!

We started our late-morning at Blooms and Berries.  Kim had said that it was perfect for toddler/preschool age children - and she was absolutely right!  There was a huge slide, swings, 'pumpkin slides', a hayride, corn maze, cow train, goats...and of course pumpkins!  The kids had a blast!  At this point we have decided that Iron's Fruit Farm has the best corn maze (click here for that post) and Blooms and Berries has the best hayride and family fun!

This will be fun to do every year!

Leah and Max loved the giant slide - daddy did too but I missed his picture!

Max kept saying "hee haw" and "rope"

Caw Train!

Noah will get to ride next year!

Where did they go?

Max loved rolling the little pumpkins down the slide

He was very serious about it!

Leah worked a water pump so that ducks would swim to the other side

After the fall fun we drove about 5 minutes to Historic Loveland to go to The Works - a restaurant where you can sit in a train car!  Max loved it - and the pizza was good too!

This is where we had yummy pizza!
