Visiting With The Tobin's

Last weekend we had a great time hosting our good friends Sean and Natalie, who also happen to be Max's Godparents. We spent Friday evening at the Page's home eating pizza and catching up with everyone while the boys golfed. After the hubbies got home, Pat Page insisted on reading to Leah and Lily.

Saturday was all about the Fall. We started the day in Lebanon at the Apple Fest. It was a perfect day for a street fair - we smelled plenty of goodies and saw many interesting people and crafts.

After Apple Fest we headed north to Hidden Valley Fruit Farm - a small orchard Pat and I have been going to for several years. Once at the orchard we picked out some delicious apples - Macouns for Pat and Honeycrisp for Leah and me. Sean enjoyed checking out the pumpkins with Leah. We all enjoyed the perfect fall day outside listening to some live entertainment while eating caramel apples. They were so delicious they were gone before a picture could be taken!
After the orchard we headed home - they boys had some 'errands' to run and the girls just wanted to enjoy a quiet afternoon catching up while Leah and Max took their naps. We finished the day with a yummy dinner and s'mores. It was Leah's first s'mores experience, and she was not too thrilled. The s'mores were too 'sticky' for her. Someday she will learn to appreciate the tasty experience of s'mores!

sorry Natalie, your head got cut off!
Natalie took photos of the weekend too. Once I get those I will update this post! It was a perfect visit and we can't wait for the next one this winter!
