I thought it would be good to get Leah involved in a summer camp or two, and Safety Town was perfect. It happened to be a week where we were in town for the entire week, and we lucked out with the weather as it was the 'coolest' week we've had so far. Leah spent two hours each morning for week at Hamilton's Safety Town, the same one Pat went to as a child. She spent the week learning about stop signs, traffic lights, emergency vehicles, strangers and all sorts of other things. She even went on a school bus trip to the fire department and climbed a ladder and went through a smoke house. The field trip ended at Flub's - yum! At the end of the week we all attended a small graduation ceremony. We couldn't be more proud of our Safety Town Graduate!
