Snapshot Sunday
Enjoy!
Countdown to Disney! The boys' door... |
And Leah's door - she taped her Mickey's on her own. I wasn't surprised to see them mostly organized! |
Noah is now pulling himself up ALL THE TIME |
Should I take Leah's Uno card? |
Hmmm.... |
Got it! And the remote! |
Soccer season began this week |
Leah is on team "Blue Sharks" |
Warming up |
Not sitting in the dirt! |
Instead she is twirling! |
I learned how to fold a fitted sheet watching a YouTube video - and I am now able to fold a set of sheets and store them in a pillow case! |
Someone is ready to hit the pool - time for a new suit! |
Easter
We celebrated Easter a week early this year since we will be in Florida next week. Yesterday we colored eggs and made our traditional bunny cake. I tried out a new egg-free white cake recipe, and it was pretty good. I usually always make chocolate everything since I have a really good recipe passed down from my Grandma Snow, to mom and to me. But Leah doesn't care for chocolate cake, so we tried something new. Try the recipe here.
The Easter bunny came last night and hid the baskets. Before we were even downstairs Leah said her basket was in the bathroom. Hmmm....guess we will have to really change it up next year!
I decided to not do candy in their baskets this year - except for their favorite M&Ms and of course a chocolate bunny. They really do not need all the sugar, and they don't even really ask for it. At Halloween they ask for something from their bucket for a day or so after and then they forget about it. Which is perfectly fine by me! So this year the baskets were filled with new sand and water toys and puzzles/games that they can take on the airplane next weekend. I also got them new cinch sack backpacks from Thirty-One, but they are a little too big still, even for Leah. So they will just use their other backpacks they have - polka dots and Batman!
Good ol' PAAS - having been using this every year! |

Leah had been up for over an hour already and was playing dress-up in her hippie dress! |
No Max, that one is not yours! |
There it is! |
Going through the loot |
Noah had no interest looking for his basket |
So we moved it to the middle of the room |
Poor Noah - and Leah and Max - all have colds or allergies - snotty noses! |
